Bio
Having lived in Tasmania, I was enchanted by the state's untouched beauty. This experience motivated me to preserve and highlight the natural environment through my work. Later, I moved to Melbourne to pursue formal studies in photography at RMIT University. My photography skillfully blends the essence of nature with human habitation, creating a harmonious fusion of the two elements.
Reflections
According to Susanne Langer (1895-1985), a photograph should capture vitality and rhythm. When the energy of the subject is expressed harmoniously through artistic form, the result is a vibrant work of art. In this context, vitality refers to the vivid depiction of the subject's temperament and character. The series evokes a range of emotions, reflecting both lifestyle and nomadic themes. Through my photography, I strive to capture the dynamic vitality of my new perspective and communicate it through visual representations.
